I think as was suggested on an earlier post, I’d be most curious to know about how your opinion has changed from the Questicle days.
One thing about this current crop is these are all 2-player games that are meant to be played that way. I’ve played them all occasionally over the years, 10 Yard Fight much more seldom than the others. But the last time I played any of them with another person was approximately 1991, and it would have been Baseball.
Yes, I like that suggestion as well. I have some thoughts on that, but... more to come Wednesday.
Not only are they two player games, but most of them started in the arcade, either as standalone cabinets or as part of Nintendo's Vs. System. Thus, most of them still have that 80s arcade sensibility, which is fast, quick play and not much depth.

The quest continues! You’re either a miracle man, or you’re insane. Maybe both? Time will tell!
Of this first batch, I’m sorry you have to play these games.
Lol, thanks for the encouragement, my friend.
Crazy these launch games are close to 40! They're definitely looking/playing their age.
I’d imagine something along the lines of those old Leonard Maltin movie guides. A few lines about the game and a star rating.
Maybe a little more in-depth than my boy Leonard, but we'll see! I'm curious to see how these come out!
Yeah, grouping by genre and/or release year to narrate the history of how developers impacted the gaming market might be a good strategy!
Yeah, it's definitely helpful from a historical perspective!
